In the formative years, the college administration was entrusted to a governing body known as the College Council, constituted in accordance with the existing statutes of the University of North Bengal. By the mid-1980s, a significant transition took place. The Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor of the University assumed direct responsibility and control, overseeing the college administration, and giving it the proper status of a constituent college. To assist in this stewardship, an Advisory Committee was constituted — a collective body designed to ensure balanced governance, academic integrity, and administrative continuity.
