The major modes of Internal assessment include
  1. Class tests and MCQ-based examinations

  2. Open Book Tests

  3. Written assignments and tutorials

  4. Student seminars and thematic presentations

  5. Group discussion and brainstorming sessions

  6. Quiz and internal viva-voce

  7. Project work and practical examinations (where applicable)

  8. Field survey (where applicable)

  9. Book review and student-driven activities

The results of internal assessment(s) are recorded systematically and contribute to the final evaluation as per university norms. The process helps teachers identify slow and advanced learners and undertake remedial, mentoring, or enrichment measures accordingly.

To address the grievances, if any, the college provides scope for script review and discussion with the concerned teacher. Unresolved issues, if any, may be referred to the Department, Examination Committee, or the Grievance Redressal Cell for necessary action.

The internal assessment mechanism of the college thus ensures continuous monitoring of learning, timely feedback, and attainment of course and programme outcomes in a fair and student-friendly manner.
