The Grievance Redressal Cell of University BT and Evening College functions as an essential institutional mechanism to address the concerns and complaints of students, teachers, and non-teaching staff in a fair, transparent, and time-bound manner. The Cell provides a confidential and accessible platform where stakeholders may report academic, administrative, behavioural, or service-related grievances without fear of bias or retaliation. It is committed to ensuring impartial enquiry and just resolution through due process, thereby strengthening trust and accountability within the college community.
The primary objective of the Cell is to safeguard the dignity and rights of all members of the institution and to promote a safe, respectful, and inclusive academic environment. It receives and registers complaints, examines them carefully, and recommends appropriate measures for redressal. Wherever necessary, the Cell also extends guidance and counselling to the affected individuals.
Meeting at regular intervals, the Cell reviews pending cases, formulates action plans, and evaluates its overall functioning to ensure effectiveness. It also organises awareness programmes, workshops, and interactive sessions with students and staff to encourage responsible grievance reporting and foster a culture of mutual respect, transparency, and institutional harmony across the campus.
