The Recitation Club of University B.T. and Evening College has been established from the academic session 2025–26 with the objective of encouraging students to develop their skills in recitation and public performance. The club aims to nurture students’ interest in literature while helping them cultivate confidence in spoken expression.
One of the primary goals of the club is to promote effective anchoring, voice modulation, and clear articulation among students. Through regular practice sessions, workshops, and recitation programmes, the club provides a platform for students to improve their pronunciation, rhythm, and expressive delivery of poetry and prose.
The club also encourages students to appreciate both Bengali and English literary traditions through recitation. By participating in various cultural programmes and college events, members of the Recitation Club gain valuable experience in stage presentation and communication.
